Is the sale still planned for this coming weekend? When will a sign be posted in the neighborhood so people will know about it and participate?

I am very disappointed in the lack of communication and publication/marketing of the garage sale. Two days notice is not enough time to prepare or adequately market. Why wasn't it in the newsletter or updated on the website? There's no point in having a community sale if nobody knows about it. Signs placed in the entrance on the Wednesday 2 days before the event is not a sufficient amount of warning.

You are absolutely right! We need a better way to communicate to the entire neighborhood. For years we have been asking for volunteers to join a communications committee to facilitate situations like the garage sale. That said, we still could have done a better job other than the posting on line and a sign two days prior to the sale. Part of our problem is that we no longer have the newsletter delivered monthly because Capture Media has gone completely online.
Save dates for the second or third weekend of October for the Fall Garage Sale. We will do a better job of communicating the exact date.
